Hey girls. I originally started with a gradient using China Glaze Sun Kissed and Orly Skinny Dip. My gradients always look wonky too me. I keep trying with the same results. Practice makes perfect I guess. I never feel like I can wear my gradients alome so I ALWAYS cover them up with glitter. The glitter I used was China Glaze Graffiti Glitter. Graffiti Glitter is an emerald green color. It came out looking black in my photo's though.

Flower Nails
Hey girls .. Very late post today. I always post in the morning. I'm gonna attempt to do this Californails "Totally Doable I Have a Life" challenge. I follow this account on instagram. Lol, I just love that name. I attempted to do a challenge back in 2011 and it was everyday and I could just not keep up. Plus this challenge will help get me back into doing nail art. I really need to make a instagram for my blog. I used seven different polishes for this nail art and I forgot to take pictures of the polishes. If you'd like to know the name I'll be happy to let ya know. The base color I used is China Glaze Kinetic Candy. Such a lovely shade of blue.
Overall I'm okay with how the flowers turned out. I didn't want to make the design to busy because my nails aren't very long. The two yellow polishes I used were too similar. You can't really see the outline. Well that's all folks. Heyyyyyyyyyyy to all my new followers :)

Hard Candy - Party Central
Hey... I'm really loving the new Hard Candy polishes. I recently picked up Party Central, and Black Tie Optional up at Walmart. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first seen them. Every Walmart I visited never had the colors I wanted. The only thing I'm not really liking is this tiny bottle 7.9 mL for $3.99. I sucked it up though and bought two to see if I would like them, because I've never tried Hard Candy polishes before. I really enjoyed wearing Party Central. This may sound cheesy. When I wore this polish I couldn't help but keep staring down at my nails because it was like a mini party lol. Party Central is a very fun glitter. It mainly features blue, purple, teal, white, and pink glitters. I wore it over Sally Hansen - I Pink I Can, and China Glaze - Blue Sparrow. This was also my first time wearing Blue Sparrow. It dries matte and looks dull but with topcoat it really pops.

Cartoon Nails!
Hey... I used China Glaze Sea Spray and acrylic paint for the details. I don't know why I thought outlining my nails was gonna be a piece of cake. It was more challenging than I thought. The biggest problem I had was making the lines too thick in certain area's. It's okay for my first try. I'll remember to use much thinner lines next time. It's okay for my first try. I got this idea from CutePolish's tutorial.

Rainstorm & Water You Waiting For
Hey.. This mani was inspired by Nails Beautiqued. She wore the exact same colors. I liked the combination so much I decided to give it a whirl. I've had China Glaze - Water You Waiting for quite some time. I didn't really like it that much. I only picked it up from Sally's because it was on clearance.
Sinful Colors - Rainstorm is dusty blue. I only applied one coat. They surely picked an appropriate name because this polish does remind me of a rain storm. How cheesy!
China Glaze -Water You Waiting For is a very fine micro glitter. It has small pieces of green , and purple which can barely be seen. I'm still not in love with this WYWF, its still "okay" in my opinion. I think I'll like it better over a bright or baby blue. I just adore those two shades of blue the most.

Hola, my lovely readers that are still here after my long, long, hiatus. I haven't blogged for many reasons. The main reason being , I'm a bit hard on myself sometimes. So I just decided not to continue to blog. Over the past year though, I've missed it so much. So I'm back. Now on to the nails...
I recently made a spreadsheet for my polishes , because sometimes I would buy a polish I already owned. So after my spreadsheet was completed I couldn't believe the number of Untrieds I had. So I decided I would "try" to use one or two untrieds for every mani. I'm not exactly happy with the colors . I just grabbed and polished. I used China Glaze - Beauty Within from the 2012 United In Purpose collection. Funky Fingers - Mrs. Mint , and Finger Paints Are You Hoppy? from the new Wild About Spring collection. Are You Hoppy is a lavender Glitter Shard Topper. I had application problems with AYH , this polish could definitely use thinner. Some of the pieces were very large and didn't lay flat. Two coats of topcoat would probably lay the pieces down flat. But ain't nobody got time for that.

Monday PAA Mani - Crackle
This weeks PAA challenge was crackle. Since I'm not a fan of the crackle/shatter/croc trend , I didnt have any Crackle polishes. So I improvised and used Bundle Monster Plate 208. I'm happy with this mani. My stamping is slowly improving. I stamped with Konad White. The base color is China Glaze Blue Year's Eve. I love love this color. Its' so fablous. Blue may be my new favorite color for nail polish. I find myself wearing blue over and over again.

After Christmas blue mani
I'm such a sporadic blogger . Anyhow. I didn't wear a festive mani for Christmas but I wore this mani on Dec 29th in honor of my great grandma. Her favorite color was baby blue. She would have been 79 on Dec 29th 2011. I went to visit her grave in honor of her birthday :)
I have to get a backup bottle of this baby blue polish, Sally Hansen Barracuda. It's so plain and not to unique but , I just adore this color on my skin tone. Accent finger is China Glaze Dorthy Who. I should have used two coats but I didn't so its a little spotty.

Day 16 - Tribal Nails
Hello :)
The blue and pink are not color accurate @ all. I would love to have a blue that vibrant.
Blue - Why Not
Yellow- Lemon Fizz
Pink- Shocking Pink
Red - In My Red High Heels
Green- Mint Sorbet
I really like how these turned out, other than how messy they become after I applied topcoat. I have to just blob it on there so it doesn't smudge. I need to try a new one. The one I'm using right now is just okay. I wont repurchase it. My pinky and index fingers are my fav. I used mostly all polish. I used acrylic paint for the white and black.

Day 14 - Flowers
Hello :) .... Excuse my absence, yet again.
I wanted to try something new instead of doing the dot flowers or the "c" flowers . So I decided to use some fimo slices that I've had for ages but haven't used. They didn't lay flat on my nails at all. I even tried bending them. I used my new 3mm rhinestones. They're huge. I should have got 2mm but I still like them.
Yellow - China Glaze Lemon Fizz
Pink- Sinful Colors Beautiful Girl
