Hey... I'm really loving the new Hard Candy polishes. I recently picked up Party Central, and Black Tie Optional up at Walmart. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first seen them. Every Walmart I visited never had the colors I wanted. The only thing I'm not really liking is this tiny bottle 7.9 mL for $3.99. I sucked it up though and bought two to see if I would like them, because I've never tried Hard Candy polishes before. I really enjoyed wearing Party Central. This may sound cheesy. When I wore this polish I couldn't help but keep staring down at my nails because it was like a mini party lol. Party Central is a very fun glitter. It mainly features blue, purple, teal, white, and pink glitters. I wore it over Sally Hansen - I Pink I Can, and China Glaze - Blue Sparrow. This was also my first time wearing Blue Sparrow. It dries matte and looks dull but with topcoat it really pops.

Cartoon Nails!
Hey... I used China Glaze Sea Spray and acrylic paint for the details. I don't know why I thought outlining my nails was gonna be a piece of cake. It was more challenging than I thought. The biggest problem I had was making the lines too thick in certain area's. It's okay for my first try. I'll remember to use much thinner lines next time. It's okay for my first try. I got this idea from CutePolish's tutorial.

Color Club Blue-ming & Sally Hansen Celeb City
Hey.. Today's mani is my first attempt at nail art after quite some time. I will admit I'm a little rusty now that I haven't been putting my skills to use and practicing. Blue-ming is just gorgeous to me. It's a mint turquoise creme from the 2012 Spring Blossoming Collection. I used two coats. Celeb City is a silvery foil. It's also great for stamping. It's technically a one coater but I did two coats because of my application. I think these colors look great together.
I didn't have a particular theme in mine . I just started drawing and this is what I ended up with. I used a Milani nail art striper. My middle finger was supposed to be an arrow but that was an epic fail. So I turned it into a diamond instead.

My Stash
Hey.. Today's post is all about my polish babies and I took a lot of pictures so this post is indeed pic heavy. My first storage post from 2011 can be found here. Back in 2011 I had just bought my first Melmer now I have two. I bought the second one last year around May. Still haven't decorated them. I realized I would have to take them apart to paint them . That's just simply not gonna happen. The instructions said it will only take 30 minutes to assemble. It took me almost two hours. So taking them apart is no bueno. At the beginning of this year I made a spread sheet. As of today I have 506 polish babies. I have the most Sinful Colors (80). Sinful Colors is my favorite drugstore brand. China Glaze is in second place with (67) . My favorite "high end" brand. I say that with quotations because things get way more high end with the more expensive brands.
My favorite drawer, my Pinks.
Blue's are my 2nd favorite.
I'm not a big fan of red polishes but you surely cant tell by this picture. There slowly growing on on. I feel very feminine when wearing red polish.
My "mani" basket" . My base and top coat. I use Seche Clear and Seche Vite .Spray bottle for my alcohol. Applicator bottle filled with acetone.
This Onyx Professional remover thing is awesome. It removes glitter faster than any other method I've tried. You just stick your fingers all in at once and rub your nails vigorously against the bristles.
Not the most appealing picture. But I wanted to show you the inside . When it gets really dirty and filthy looking I dump it all out and fill it with more acetone. If you love glitter like me you might wanna give this a try.

Sally Hansen - All Fired Up!
Hey .. Today I'm showing you guys one of my favorite reds. Its called All Fired Up from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Line. It's marketed as being 5 Steps in 1 Bottle: Base Coat, Strengthener, Growth Treatment, Color and Top Coat. I haven't personally been able to forgo wearing base and top coat because I'm so used to polishing my nails with rather than not. I love the Complete Salon Manicure line. When I wore this color for the first time I got 7 days wear without chips. That rarely happens with my chip-tastic nails. I was very impressed. It has a rather wide brush. I love that I don't have to clean up much using this brush. I'd say All Fired Up is a crelly ( creme and jelly). I just love this color. I know it's not super unique but I just think it looks great with my skin tone.

Rainstorm & Water You Waiting For
Hey.. This mani was inspired by Nails Beautiqued. She wore the exact same colors. I liked the combination so much I decided to give it a whirl. I've had China Glaze - Water You Waiting for quite some time. I didn't really like it that much. I only picked it up from Sally's because it was on clearance.
Sinful Colors - Rainstorm is dusty blue. I only applied one coat. They surely picked an appropriate name because this polish does remind me of a rain storm. How cheesy!
China Glaze -Water You Waiting For is a very fine micro glitter. It has small pieces of green , and purple which can barely be seen. I'm still not in love with this WYWF, its still "okay" in my opinion. I think I'll like it better over a bright or baby blue. I just adore those two shades of blue the most.

Ruby Wings - Moonstone
Moonstone is a baby blue color changing polish. It changes color once you go outside. Once outside it changes into a soft muted purple. I was surprised that the bottle only shifted a little once outside. I thought it would shift completely into the purple color. I purchased this color from Burlington Coat Factory for 5.99. I was surprised that they carried them out of all the places I've looked. I only bought one. I wish I would have grabbed a couple more. I enjoy color changing things, lol. I have this Coca Cola shirt that changes colors when you go outside. That tee shirt is my absolute favorite because of that effect.
It would be awesome if a company was able to make a polish that gives you the ombre/gradation effect. That would be cool.

Hola, my lovely readers that are still here after my long, long, hiatus. I haven't blogged for many reasons. The main reason being , I'm a bit hard on myself sometimes. So I just decided not to continue to blog. Over the past year though, I've missed it so much. So I'm back. Now on to the nails...
I recently made a spreadsheet for my polishes , because sometimes I would buy a polish I already owned. So after my spreadsheet was completed I couldn't believe the number of Untrieds I had. So I decided I would "try" to use one or two untrieds for every mani. I'm not exactly happy with the colors . I just grabbed and polished. I used China Glaze - Beauty Within from the 2012 United In Purpose collection. Funky Fingers - Mrs. Mint , and Finger Paints Are You Hoppy? from the new Wild About Spring collection. Are You Hoppy is a lavender Glitter Shard Topper. I had application problems with AYH , this polish could definitely use thinner. Some of the pieces were very large and didn't lay flat. Two coats of topcoat would probably lay the pieces down flat. But ain't nobody got time for that.
