Day - 18 Half Moons

Good morning. Long time no post. Finals kicked but I got straight A's so that's a good thing. I didn't pass Algebra yet again :( . On to the nails. I am not a big fan of half moon mani's. I first attempted one last week but I absolutely hated it. So I tried again and the result is still the same. I didn't use those reinforcement stickers because I didn't have any. I used french tip guides. I would have liked them more if there wasn't such a huge gap.

Nude : Sally Hansen Hard As Nails - Sheer Vanilla
Green: Revlon - Emerald City

I took a picture of the bottle backwards b/c I still haven't taken the tacky clearance sticker off. Got this baby last week @ Target for 1.12.

Day 18 - Glitter

Good afternoon!

The base i used is Teal Envy by Nail Polish Max Makeup CHERIMOYA. Too long of a name if you ask me. This bottle is very similar to Kleancolors. I just adore this color. I've worn it 3 or 4 times. Which is a big deal b/c that only happens with pinks or blues lol. I was loving this mani before I applied Revlon - Blue Mosaic. When it first came out earlier this year i instantly fell in love. Now 3 months later I'm just now trying it and I don't like it against this base. Maybe they are to similar in color.

Day 16 - Tribal Nails

Hello :)

The blue and pink are not color accurate @ all. I would love to have a blue that vibrant.

Blue - Why Not
Yellow- Lemon Fizz
Pink- Shocking Pink
Red - In My Red High Heels
Green- Mint Sorbet

I really like how these turned out, other than how messy they become after I applied topcoat. I have to just blob it on there so it doesn't smudge. I need to try a new one. The one I'm using right now is just okay. I wont repurchase it.  My pinky and index fingers are my fav. I used mostly all polish. I used acrylic paint for the white and black.

Day 15 - Delicate Print

Good morning!!!

I used a sheer nude base and then stamped with Bundle Monster - 201. I used Konad White to stamp. The color that I'm wearing is one of my oldest polishes (Savvy Nail Lacquer - French Rose Petal ). I remember going to Sally's when I was around 16 and buying these 3 nude/sheer polishes. I only used to wear "tame" colors on my hands lol. I like the results. I also tried double stamping the areas I didn't quite get the first time and that worked well.

Day 14 - Flowers

Hello :) .... Excuse my absence, yet again.

I wanted to try something new instead of doing the dot flowers or the "c" flowers . So I decided to use some fimo slices that I've had for ages but haven't used. They didn't lay flat on my nails at all. I even tried bending them. I used my new 3mm rhinestones. They're huge.  I should have got 2mm but I still like them.

Yellow - China Glaze Lemon Fizz
Pink- Sinful Colors Beautiful Girl

Day 13 - Animal Print

Hello my lovely followers! It feels good to have polish on beside base coat. This is my 2nd attempt at Leopard nails . These turned out much better than my first try. Last time I used a brush, but this time I used a dotting toll and it made it more natural looking. I think. Side Note: My nails are almost to the length I prefer the most. Then my middle finger just breaks. It's so short I can't properly file it square without it hurting. I usually cut them all the same length but I refuse this time.

Wet n Wild -French Creme
Yellow- Color Club - Almost Famous
Orange - Color Club -Wham! Pow!
Pink- Color Club -Popstastic

Day 12 - Stripe Nails

Hey Girl Hey!! Or boy?!?

I've been on a jelly kick lately. I just love them. I don't mind VNL at all. I like it actually. Rimmel Sunset Orange such a weird name for a color that clearly isn't orange. This color is more of a coral color. I wouldn't even call this color a red orange. Its a blah color actually. Doesn't do anything for me but I don't hate it either.

 2 coats

Stamped using Bundle Monster Plate 201. Soon I will be able to stamp well until then I'm gonna pretend I covered the whole nail lol.

Added a 3rd coat over the stamping.  I just love jellies!

St.Louis Cardinals nails

Hello :) I'm from St.Louis, and I'm a baseball fan. So i'm thrilled that they won the World Series this year. So I decided to a mani dedicated to that.. This is the their 11th title in franchise history BTW... Inspired by the St.Louis logo, MVP David Freese, and of course my favorite player Albert Pujols. I sorta messed up the logo because I ran out of room. The "t" should have been placed inside the "S". Other than that , I'm very pleased with how they turned out. I only used polish for the base of red and white. I used Wet n Wild French  Creme, and Maybelline Speedy Hot Tamale. Everything else is acrylic paint. It's so forgiving.

Day 11 - Polka Dot Nails

GM!!

I love, love, love this color. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Barracuda. I had been looking for the perfect light blue. I need 2 back up bottles lol. Totally one of my "go too" polishes. The polish I used for the dots is NYC- Skin Tight Denim Creme.  It's also perfect for stamping. One problem i always have with dotting is the dragging.  The dots sometimes will leave a small stray line behind and it drives me up the wall. Any tips?

Day 10 - Gradient Nails

 Hello!!
I started off with Sinful Colors - Pink Forever for the base. I then sponged on Sinful Colors Pink. What an an original name. After i applied the second color it still looked to similar so I then added Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Fuchsia Power. I really liked it. Pink is my favorite color after all.

Then I had to go and ruin it with my horrid stamping. I used Bundle Monster Plate 221. I first stamped the abstract looking design first on my index, middle , and ring finger. After my lopsided stamping I figured why not try this Chinese/Japanese?? stamp that's really cute. So I did. That didn't make it any better lol. I enjoyed using my plates though, haven't used them in forever.

Day 9 - Rainbow Nails

Good Morning!

I really enjoyed doing this mani. I first painted the sponge, then lightly applied to my nails. Although the colors smooshed together. I still really dig these nails. Kinda hippie-ish! I like that they all look different.

I over did the pinky.

Day 8 - Metallic Nails

Hello!

Unnamed gold polish from an icing nail polish set. I don't have many metallic polishes. Never used this one before and now I see why. Looks FUGLY on me.

I won , I won

Good Morning!

I couldn't think of any other clever title for today's post. But I did win CND Sapphire Sparkle from Queen Of the Nail. I was so exited b/c i never win. Well until last week! My pictures don't do this beauty justice. Its so sparkly and pretty. It has purple and blue tones throughout. Cant wait to try it over different colors.

1 coat  of  CND Sapphire sparkle over Color Club Pucci-Licious.

Excuse my hang nail. Macro pictures pick up everything geesh! lol

Breast Cancer Awareness

Good Morning!

The theme for this week's PAA, Monday theme is Breast Cancer Awareness.  I love pink polish so this week was the week for me. I haven't known/lost any family or friends to breast cancer. But cancer in general has taken away several of my family members. I will definitely create a colon cancer mani soon in honor of my great gran that passed away from this disease last year. I love this mani, BTW!

Lines were created using a "Fan brush"! Got the idea from LOVE4NAILS youtube.

I like both versions .

Day 7 - Black & White Nails

Hello :)

I am determined to finish this challenge. At this point this challenge is 31 mani's instead of 31 days. Lol.
I will probably have to sit down and do 3 or 4 at a time b/c of school, I don't have time to paint my nails every day. Anywho....

My Inspiration for this mani was domino's!

I like em for most part, just wish the dots were more consistent in size. I also think it would be really adorable with longer nails!

My Stash & Storage

Hello :)

I recently got a "Melmer" a.k.a. Jetmax Modular Storage from Michaels.  I am so happy with my purchase. I cant wait to decorate it, with acrylic paint probably.

My whole set up.

Melmer draw #1

Melmer Draw #2 - Sadly its empty :( ... This will be put to good use soon.

Melmer Draw #3 - a.k.a my favorite draw! I go to this draw the most.

All of the essentials.

Junky, miscellaneous draw. I still haven't touched the rhinestones i got off eBay almost 6 months ago. These rhinestones are so tiny, they annoy me.

My mani/pedi towel.

Flies P.S. I kinda hate glass files. They annoy me.

Brushes, nail glue, and small glass jars (great for acetone), and quick cleanup.

Dotting tools, orange sticks

 Brushes

Clippers, toe separators, pipettes for easily getting acetone out of the bottle.
